Type 1 diabetes is when the production of insulin decreases or is absent. It is an autoimmune disorder usually caused by genetics, chemical secretions, or other factors which are out of a person’s control. However, this doesn’t mean that through effective natural therapies, diet and exercise we cannot relief from diabetes symptoms. Type 2 diabetes on the other hand can not only be managed but also prevented through natural remedies that help in the treatment of diabetes.
Supplements and herbs for the treatment of diabetes
There are some herbs that are thought to help in the control and treatment of diabetes. Bitter gourd, grown in India, contains plant insulin and if it is taken on an empty stomach, can be effective for preventing diabetes symptoms. Coccinia indica, also known as the ‘ivy gourd’ has been found to contain insulin-mimetic properties. Further testing is being done to prove its effectiveness in the treatment of diabetes. Research is also being done into bauhinia forficate, grown in South America is used in a Brazilian herbal remedy and also contains ‘vegetable insulin.’
Aloe vera is grown in arid soil and often used as a skin lotion and for treating burns. Dried aloe vera sap and gel may be able to lower fasting blood glucose levels and so relieve diabetes symptoms. Natural supplements of magnesium could improve insulin sensitivity. Chromium, found in whole grains, mushrooms, corn oil and brewers yeast has also proved effective. The correct doses of vitamin A and B have helped in managing insulin and the treatment of diabetes. However these have to be taken with care as they could interfere with the absorption of insulin by the cells.
Diet
The first step, however, in the control and treatment of diabetes should always be through diet. Refined sugar, sweets and other sweet food or drinks, fats like butter and hydrogenated vegetable oil should be avoided, along with many processed foods. Alcohol and smoking should be avoided completely, to remove the risk of diabetes symptoms, though an occasional drink is not out of the question.
Salt should be reduced along with red meat and other foods that are full of saturated fats. Whole grains and fresh fruits should be added along with raw vegetables, sprouts, fish and other foods rich in antioxidants. Trans-fats and saturated fats should be replaced with monounsaturated fats like peanut, canola and olive oil.
Other foods that help are cinnamon sticks eaten naturally or in tea and fenugreek seeds soaked in water. The Indian gooseberry and margosa or neem extracts (azadirachta indica – a subtropical tree) have all proved useful in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Garlic has been tested and found to be useful in limited studies. It offers antioxidant properties and micro-circulatory effects and could help reduce blood glucose, increase insulin secretion, and slow degradation, preventing diabetes symptoms.
Exercise
Walking, any sport, jogging and swimming are particularly helpful. Specific yoga postures help in stretching and relaxing the body along with helping the mind to handle any stress caused by diabetes symptoms.

Guide to Headache Migraine Treatment
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
Migraine headaches are repeated or recurrent headaches, possibly caused by changes in the diameter of the blood vessels in the head. Migraine headaches are often classified in two main types — migraine with aura (formerly called classic migraine) and migraine without aura (formerly called common migraine). Most people with migraines do not have any warning before it occurs. However, in cases of “classic” migraine headache, a visual disturbance called an aura happens before the headache starts. Classic migraine is different from “common” migraines (which have no warning sign or aura) or “complicated” migraines (which occur with speech, movement, or other problems in the nervous system). Auras usually last less than an hour. The headache typically begins less than an hour after the aura ends. About two in 10 people who have migraines experience auras, which are sensory or motor disturbances that precede the actual headache. Most auras consist of visual disturbances, such as a blind spot or a flickering zigzag line or crescent in your field of vision. Another type of aura involves unusual sensations, such as numbness and tingling of the lips, lower face and fingers. A third type affects motor function, causing problems with movement or speech.
Migraine headaches are a common type of chronic headache. Migraine pain can be excruciating and may incapacitate you for hours or even days. Some people do experience a variety of vague symptoms before common migraines – mental fuzziness, mood changes, fatigue, and unusual retention of fluid. Migraines occur in women more than men, most often between the ages of 10 and 46 years. In some cases, they appear to run in families. Migraines without aura strike without the unmistakable warning sign of disturbed vision or sensation. Still, some people say more subtle symptoms, such as mood changes and loss of appetite, alert them to oncoming migraines. True migraine headaches are not a result of underlying brain tumors or other serious medical problems. The pain of a classic migraine headache is described as an intense throbbing or pounding felt in the forehead/temple, ear/jaw or around the eyes. Classic migraine starts on one side of the head, but may eventually spread to the other side. An attack may last one to two pain-racked days. Influences in a person’s life that tend to overload the nervous system are risks. Once identified in your life, you can counteract the negative effects of risks with the positive results of protective activities.
Migraine headaches constantly accommodates changes in hormones, emotions, and thoughts as well as the many chemicals in our food and beverages. Migraines are the most studied of all headaches, and
there are various competing theories about what may actually cause them. Hormones seem to influence migraine development. Some women who take oral contraceptives or estrogen experience worsening headaches while others improve. Similarly, some women have an increasing headache pattern during pregnancy while others have diminished headache intensity. Other women develop migraines for the first time when they are pregnant. Headaches may increase in some women in the days before their menstrual period. Women who do not have migraines may develop migraines as a side effect to using Oral Contraceptive Pills (OCP). Many scientists now believe that migraines arise from problems within the central nervous system. These problems, which tend to run in families, affect the chemical messengers inside your brain — making you more sensitive to the types of triggers that can cause migraines. Many internal and external factors can trigger migraine such as ,Common foods — aged cheese, red wine, caffeine, chocolate, dairy products, pickled foods, lunchmeat, aspartame, MSG, peanuts, lima beans, bananas, raisins. Physical factors — fatigue, hormonal changes, missed meals, decreased sleep, oversleeping, stress
Guide to Headache Migraine Treatment Tips
1.Many medications can reduce the frequency of migraines such as ,Beta-blockers (e.g., propanolol) Anti-depressants (e.g., amitriptyline) Anti-convulsants (e.g., valproic acid) Calcium-channel blockers These medications are less useful and tolerable to patients with infrequent headaches.
2.Other medications are taken when there is the first sign of an impending migraine attack. In the case of classic migraine, Ergots (e.g., DHE-45) Serotonin agonists / triptans (e.g., sumatriptan) and Isometheptene.
3.Other medications are primarily given to treat the symptoms of migraine. Used alone or in combinations, these drugs can minimize pain, nausea, or emotional distress caused by the migraine.Anti-emetics (e.g., prochlorperazine) Sedatives (e.g., butalbital) Anti-inflammatories (e.g., ibuprofen) Acetaminophen Narcotic analgesics (e.g., meperidine)
4.Most patients with migraine can identify certain foods that are closely associated with their migraine headaches. To find out which foods are responsible, avoid all of the above-mentioned foods and then gradually work each food back into the diet.
5.Hormone therapy may help some women whose migraines seem to be linked to their menstrual cycle.
6.Stress management strategies, such as exercise, relaxation, biofeedback, and other therapies designed to help limit discomfort, may also reduce the occurrence and severity of migraine attacks.

Confessions of a Yoga Teacher
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
The following are questions that Yoga teachers still need to answer, despite overwhelming evidence that Yoga is “the mother of all health maintenance systems.” Mainstream thought is finally catching up, with the progress Yoga is making, but it has taken 5,000 years for us to get this far.
Seriously, How Can Yoga Make You Lose Weight?
Finally, some of the “Yoga and Weight Loss” studies have come in, and even, a little bit of Yoga is much better, than none, for weight control, but there are a number of reasons why. Yoga is a lifestyle change that includes a safe diet exercise, adjusting posture, breathing, and a whole lot more. Most of the Yoga practitioners, I know, consume more water, eat more moderately, and take more care of their bodies, in comparison to the many who don’t want to leave the couch.
Aren’t you supposed to jump up and down for at least a half-hour per day to exercise enough to lose weight?
Maybe the masses have been “brain washed” into thinking that you have to feel the pain, suffer, starve, and have a near death experience, to lose weight. Depending upon your size, the average person, in a moderate Hatha yoga class, is burning in the neighborhood of 200 calories per hour.
There are Vinyasa Yoga classes, that will burn more calories, with much more flowing and active movement. Just remember, that your safety is top priority, and you will be fine.
There are also Yoga classes where you can feel the pain, heat, and suffer. This is great for those who feel the need to “pay for their sins.” Maybe this is considered “penance,” for years of consuming excessive pizza, burgers, and buffets. If you feel you must suffer, you may even find a Yoga teacher who missed his or her calling as an interrogator.
If you search hard enough, you will find a Yoga class for every niche. More moderate Yoga classes look easy on the outside of the class, but I have seen many people find them to be a challenge, on the inside of the class. The real benefit of steady Yoga practice is training for longevity.
Long-term practice will yield optimum health benefits in mind, body, and spirit.
Couldn’t you just invent a Yoga pill?
This has been the ultimate dream of “couch potatoes,” but every time a weight loss pill comes out, there is a down side. Just look at the health problems that resulted from fen phen and ephedra. This should wake people up, but someone will always put their life at risk, no matter how many warning labels are printed.
In summary, the benefits of Yoga practice have always existed, through steady and safe practice. Seek out a safe teacher and go from there. Never push yourself to the point of strain. Moderation is key, so it is wise to avoid extremes.
Paul Jerard, is a co-owner/director of Yoga teacher training at Aura Wellness Center. He has been a certified Master Yoga teacher since 1995. He is a master instructor of martial arts. Sexual satisfaction is very important to maintain a relation
between a husband and wife. There is no problem in having such physical
relations as long as both individuals are mutually satisfied and happy. But if
one’s partner is not fully satisfied with him, then it mans he must have some
sexual disorder like Erectile dysfunction, or ED. It is a situation where a man
has problems getting an erection or even maintaining it. This could be a
problem only on occasion or else it could be a chronic situation.
There are many reasons why Erectile
Dysfunction(ED) occurs and most of them are completely normal like
just getting older. However, there are medical problems that can cause this
problem, too. They include heart disease, diabetes, alcoholism, and more.
But do not worry; there are treatment options available for
men who suffer from ED. There are a lot of different prescription drugs on the
market that treat ED like Viagra, Cialis, Levitra etc. But, these branded drugs
are very expensive and out the budget of a general class person. The most
affordable option that works the best is Generic Cialis. No longer do you need
to be embarrassed about not being able to get or maintain an erection, thanks
to generic Cialis.
However, with the generic version out there is no man that
should suffer with erectile dysfunction anymore. This drug is affordable and
works for up to 36 hours making lovemaking a spontaneous event rather than a
planned event.
Generic
Cialis works is that it relaxes the penis’ smooth muscles and allows
increased blood flow to the penis, which makes achieving an erection easy. The
great news with generic Cialis is that this drug may be taken on an empty
stomach, which makes it even easier to take as needed.
It is easy to take generic Cialis. Most men start off with
one 10 mg dose per day and take it at least 30 -60 minutes before an erection
is desired. The drug doesn’t cause you to just have an automatic erection.
Instead, with a bit of sexual stimulation the drug promotes an erection so the
man feels as natural as possible.
There are some side-effects like indigestion, dizziness, runny
nose, headache, upset stomach which can be experienced by patient. Do not get
panic, these side effects do not last longer than a few hours and not all men
experience them. Nevertheless, these side-effects are very little in comparison
to the benefits of being able to achieve an erection and enjoy making love to
your partner.

Diabetes Myths & More
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
First of all, let’s set the record straight on some common misconceptions about diabetes and diabetes treatment:
1. Diabetes is not caused by eating too many sweet things.
2. Even obesity is not the primary cause of diabetes. It is said regarding diabetes that genetics load the gun, lifestyle only fires it.
3. Diabetes is not caused by stress.
4. Diabetes is not contagious. It is a hereditary disease that may not appear until much later in life, if at all.
5. There is no cure for .
http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Diabetes.html”>diabetes.>
Whilst the last point may seem a little depressing, there is no need to despair completely. The symptoms of diabetes can be controlled effectively with diet, exercise, and correct supplementation. Diabetes treatment, therefore, concentrates on controlling blood sugar, or preventing the progression of the disease in those who already have it. It also helps to control related conditions and symptoms of diabetes that can aggravate the disease. Furthermore, most natural diabetes treatments are safe enough to be taken by those with pre-diabetes, a diagnosable condition that is a precursor to full-blown diabetes mellitus.
What you will be told if you seek diabetes treatment is that it is likely to be hereditary. Diabetes treatment involves certain tests, first of all to see if you do have diabetes and then to see what stage it is in so a line of diabetes treatment can be prescribed. Analyzing what symptoms of diabetes are exhibited is part of this process. Diabetes treatment will also be prescribed if you are a borderline case and have what is known as pre-diabetes.
The 1st Step in Diabetes Treatment: Diagnosis
Your physician determines the type of diabetes treatment you need on the basis of your blood sugar report, which is done through blood sugar tests, as well as the symptoms of diabetes shown. http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Diabetes.html”>Treatment of diabetes is based on factors such as the type of diabetes you have, your tolerance for specific medication, age, health, and medical history. There are three types of diabetes: type1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes. Once the type of diabetes is diagnosed, specific treatment can begin.
Treatment for Type 1 Diabetes
Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed early on in childhood, which is why it is also known as juvenile diabetes. People with type 1 diabetes need daily insulin injections because their body is not able to make its own insulin. Type 1 diabetes treatment is simply a case of injecting the insulin into fat under the skin, so that insulin can go into the bloodstream.
Insulin is not given in the form of a pill because it is a protein and can break down during digestion in the same way as protein in the food we eat does. The quantity of insulin given to you is decided on the basis of food intake, activity levels, height, age, and weight. Besides this, insulin dosages are also affected by stress levels and other illnesses.
Treatment for Type 2 Diabetes
People with type 2 diabetes are able to produce their own insulin, but their bodies do not use it efficiently. This is the most common form of diabetes, and often does not occur until well into adulthood. Type 2 diabetes treatments in some cases is done through medication and extra insulin doses, similar to type 1 treatment, to help their bodies use their own insulin more efficiently. However in most cases treatment of diabetes can be done through diet and exercise so that blood sugar levels are controlled. Supplementation can be used to fill the gap present in the modern diet. If these measures prove insufficient, then medicines can be given to bring down blood glucose levels.
Medicines used in type 2 diabetes treatment can be classified into three groups:
(i) The first category of diabetes treatment includes medicines that increase insulin production by pancreas Such as micronase, diabeta, glynase, prandin, and amaryl.
(ii) In the second category come those medicines that increase sensitivity to insulin. Examples of these diabetes treatments include actos, glucophage, and avandia.
(iii) The third category of medicines are those that delay absorption of glucose, including precose and glyset.
In most of the cases of type 2 diabetes, diabetics need more than one medication to control their sugar. A combination of oral medication and insulin can also be used in some cases. Better still, is a combination of medication and natural treatment for diabetes, so that blood sugar can be controlled safely and effectively.
Treatment for Gestational Diabetes
Gestational diabetes occurs in women during pregnancy, and has many of the symptoms of type 2 diabetes. The condition is temporary, and usually disappears after the child is born. However, diabetes treatment is still required during pregnancy – and even afterwards, as the risk of developing type 2 diabetes is increased in women who have suffered from gestational diabetes. Treatment includes a balanced diet and nutritional counseling. Regular exercise may prevent the need for insulin injections, though they may be required if dietary changes and exercises do not bring the blood sugar level back to normal.
Pregnant women suffering from gestational diabetes should control the amount of carbohydrates in their diet to help body produce insulin naturally. They should avoid food containing high sugar and fat, and eat fiber rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Healthy pregnancy weight should be maintained, weight gain of 25 to 35 pounds is recommended normally in gestational diabetes.
The biggest myth about diabetes is that it means a life of insulin jabs and a boring diet. In fact, the effective treatment of diabetes through medication, diet, exercise, and supplementation, means that the disease can be controlled, the http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Diabetes.html”>diabetes symptoms can be reduced, and a normal life can be led.

Aromatherapy for Depression
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
Aromatherapy Scent is the most enduring of our senses. Aromatherapy is the use of pure essential and absolute oils. Essential oils are complex, highly fragrant and volatile substances, with varying degrees of complexity, fragrance, and volatility. They are the most potent and concentrated extracts of various parts of flowers, fruits, leaves, spices, roots, and woods. The plant’s essence molecules are approximately 75-100 times more concentrated as an essential oil than in the dried plant. It is a holistic treatment of caring for the body with pleasant smelling botanical oils such as rose, lemon, lavender and peppermint. It has the power to transform our emotions, and heal our bodies. Aromatherapy is one of the fastest growing fields in alternative medicine. It is widely used at home, clinics and hospitals for a variety of applications such as pain relief for women in labor pain, relieving pain caused by the side effects of the chemotherapy undergone by the cancer patients, and rehabilitation of cardiac patients. The oils are obtained by steam distillation, expression (squeezing the oil from peel), maceration (immersing the plant in hot oil to release the essence) or enfleurage (pressing flowers between oiled glass plates). The essential oils are aromatic essences extracted from plants, flowers, trees, fruits, bark, grasses and seeds with distinctive therapeutic, psychological, and physiological properties, which improve and prevent illness.
There are about 150 essential oils. These oils are extracted by the means of steam distillation, cold expression, or fixed oil or alcohol extraction. Most of these oils have antiseptic properties; some are antiviral, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, antidepressant and expectorant. When you take “Aromatherapy massage” with the essential oils, these oils are absorbed into the bloodstream via the skin. Other properties of the essential oils which are taken advantage of in aromatherapy are their stimulation, relaxation, digestion improvement, and diuretic properties. To get the maximum benefit from essential oils, it should be made from natural, pure raw materials. Synthetically made oils do not work. They may also be added to steam inhalations or baths, added to compresses or spread throughout a room with diffusers. The essential oils used in aromatherapy are the life force of the plants from which they have been extracted. These oils can be massaged on your body, inhaled, added to your bath or sprayed in the air. Cold expression is used for citrus oils, and a method of solvent extraction for absolutes, concretes and resinoids. The newest technological process of extraction is the hypercritical carbon dioxide method: in part due to high cost, it is not as commonly available.
Aromatherapy uses aromatic essences that are extracted from plants. Aromatherapy is particularly effective in dealing with stress, depression and stress related disorders. ‘Depression’ is a term which encompasses a wide spectrum of psychic problems ans symtoms which, in turn, can lead to more serious illnesses. Aromatherapy, in helping to relax the patient and by reducing stress, may actually help to prevent such conditions. Depression related disorders, such as digestive problems, stress and other mental problems, can be treated by Aromatherapy. As depression is reduced, there is a corresponding improvement in sleep patterns and energy levels. In aromatherapy it is believed that the sense of smell is very powerful and directly connected to our brain, and therefore, to the hormonal activity in the body. Based on this logic, we can balance our hormones using essential oils. Many of the essential oils used for depression are from flowers and fruit. These essences have an uplifting effect on the mind and emotions. An aromatic bath two to three times per week is especially helpful for depression. Sometimes the aromatic baths are effective enough on their own as a remedy for mild bouts of depression or feeling blue.
Sandalwood is an essential oil used in yoga and in temples in many religions. It is indicated to treat anxiety, nervousness, and depression. Aromatherapy can help you relax, be energized, and create a feeling of well being. Aromatherapy is an alternative theatment that uses the highly concentrated essential oils that are extracted from plants to treat symptoms and assist in the healing process. Aromatherapy is aimed at revitalizing the body and mind while lifting your spirits. Aromatherapy will aid in promoting a sense of well being. Aromatherapy is also known for easing mental fatigue and insomnia. When you use these wonderful essential oils in the correct blend for massages, baths, diffusers and even personal perfumes you will begin to benefit from the use of aromatherapy. Using aromatherapy for depression will give you the peace of mind and the well being that you need. Bergamot (pressed from the peels of bitter oranges) has a strong reputation for its ability to uplift the mind and emotions. Bergamot has the ability to both relax the nerves and invigorate the spirit; with these actions, this important oil can be helpful for a variety of depressive condtions. Sweet orange, a close relative, works in a similar fashion, with a slightly sweeter aroma.

Hypertrichosis – Causes and
Treatments
Hypertrichosis is an
excessive hair disorder featuring abnormal hair density and length as compared
to normal growth expected for the individuals’s age, ethnicity and sex. A
diagnosis of hypertrichosis does not imply any particular hair distribution.
Except in very rare cases there is no androgen hormone involvement in cases of
hypertrichosis. In contrast, excessive hair growth diagnosed as hirsutism in
women involves androgen hormone activity and a male pattern of hair growth on
the chin, upper lip, and other areas where men have terminal hair growth.
http://www.hypertrichosis.com/hypertrichosis-causes/ > Causes Of Hypertrichosis
Hypertrichosis is the term used to describe
excess hair growth in any part of the body as compared to that of a normal
person of the same race, age or sex excluding androgen induced growth.
Hypertrichosis is usually categorized as
either generalized or localized but age of onset and the site of growth can
also be a basis of classification. Each of the generalized and localized types
is further sub-divided into congenital and acquired sub-types. Hypertrichosis
involves lanugo, vellus and terminal hairs.

is further sub-divided into congenital and acquired sub-types. Hypertrichosis
involves lanugo, vellus and terminal hairs.
Generalized Acquired Hypertrichosis / GAH
Generalized acquired hypertrichosis (GAH) conditions are caused by drug intake
and by underlying abnormalities. GAH induced by drugs is more common and needs
to be separated from other forms of generalized hypertrichosis.
Drug induced GAH
Phenytoin, cyclosporine and minoxidil are
the better known among the several drugs that cause significant generalized
hypertrichosis.
Phenytoin induces hypertrichosis three
months or so after its intake. Hypertrichosis induced by phenytoin affects
women more than men and is more prominent on the extensor aspects of the limbs
and less on the face and trunk.
60% of patients treated with cyclosporine
develop hypertrichosis within six months. Thick pigmented hairs appear on the
face, trunk and limbs.
Oral minoxidil and, to a lesser extent,
topical minoxidil cause hypertrichosis after a few weeks of therapy. Face and
extremities are the affected areas.
The hair growth disappears within a year on
discontinuation of these drugs. Time for the condition to resolve depends on
the hair cycling characteristics of the affected area.
GAH
caused by underlying abnormalities
Exposure to chemicals, such
as hexachlorobenzene induces hepatic porphyria and associated hypertrichosis.
Head injuries often result
in hypertrichosis. Earlier the condition was attributed to phenytoin drug intake
by the patient but later hypertrichosis was found even in those with head
injuries but who were not on the drug. This explains why some lose their hair
and some do not after discontinuation of this drug.
Malnutrition and anorexia
nervosa causes hypertrichosis on the limbs and trunks of some people.
Hypertrichosis may also occur in children with celiac disease and in dieting
women when carbohydrates are omitted for prolonged periods of time.
Quite often, AIDS infection
causes localized hypertrichosis, but a generalized form has also been observed.
The
mechanism for the development of hypertrichosis is unknown, but probably
there are several contributing factors related to malnutrition, metabolic
changes, immunological deregulation and drug intake.
Hair Removal Treatments Of Hypertrichosis
Excessive hair disorders
like hypertrichosis give affected people a very repulsive appearance. This ugly
appearance makes people shun those affected producing serious emotional
problems in them.
Cosmetic treatments
Currently the common
cosmetic treatments available are shaving, plucking, epilation, chemical
depilation, electrolysis and laser application.
Shaving:
Shaving is the simplest but most tedious since to retain the cosmetic
appearance shaving has to be done frequently, perhaps daily. Moreover, women
oppose such masculine rituals. There is also the risk of getting
pseudofolliculitis due to shaving of kinky hairs.
Plucking:
Plucking involves uprooting the hairs by tweezers. It produces a more
attractive appearance but is slow and painful and impractical for large areas.
Also, plucking encourages hair growth by changing telogen to anagen. Repeated
plucking can produce disorders, such as, erythema, pigmentation, folliculitis
and scarring. It is suitable for small sites
Epilation:
Epilation, or waxing, is glorified plucking, where large numbers of hairs a
re
uprooted at one go. The site is covered with low melting wax, allowed to
solidify and then swiftly pulled off plucking the hairs sticking to it. The
cosmetic effect lasts longer for about a month but the treatment is painful.
Also, breaking of anagen hairs may cause folliculitis. Sometimes patients have
allergic reactions to the wax or whatever adhesive is used. Plucking is best
when the hairs are at least 1mm. long. It is too painful for children.
Depilation:
Chemical depilatories are easy to use and produce excellent results that can
last more than two weeks. They are mostly variants of thioglycolates used for
perming hair and work in the same way to reduce the hair mass to a soft jelly.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal systems
are currently widely used for long-term hair removal. The need to have a fast
and non-invasive treatment method led to the development of this treatment.
All laser treatment systems
use the principle of selective photothermolysis where a selected chromophore is
targeted by the laser to produce the heat that destroys the follicle. Therefore
deep penetrating wavelengths in the range of 600 – 1100 nano meters (nm) are
used. Care is taken to limit skin damage by restricting damage to the target
area. This is done by ensuring enough laser absorption by the target and using
a pulse rate shorter than the thermal relaxation time of the target.
The systems differ in the
parameters like wavelength, pulse duration, fluence, spot size and repetition
rate and in the cooling system used. The cooling device reduces heat conduction
limiting skin damage and pain. The selection of these parameters is important
for getting the ideal laser for an individual.

irrespective of its cost.

companies purely based on their observation and experience.
Pick the best of the bunch
A wide range of
insurance plans are available. So it is possible for you to choose the best pet insurance. You can go through the pet insurance quote before you opt for an
insurance plan. You should
compare pet insurance
that you have taken with that of other pet insurance plans. So that you can
also choose the insurance according to your pet’s requirements and your budget.
Your pet is mostly covered as soon as you take the policy. You should only be
wary of the fraudulent insurance agents. Otherwise insurance is a wise option
to cut down the medical expenses of your pets.
Get the helping hand when your pet pulls your leg
Pets can be very
naughty. Sometimes they can escape from your lap and cause damages. This is
especially true with dogs as they are very mischievous. At this juncture, you
can take help from pet insurance as they cover accidents and damages caused by
pets on someone else’s property.
Of course money cannot fill their absence
Pet insurance
companies will reimburse certain percentage of your insurance money on the
event of death of your pet out of illness. This benefit is extended even during
the theft or loss of your pet. But it depends upon the policies of the
insurance providers. Each insurance provider will have his own policy towards
insurance coverage and benefits. But nothing can fill the place of your pet. Can
it?

Male hair loss affects 1 in 3 males by the age of 50. While there is currently no cure for hair loss, there are many hair loss products on the market purporting to remedy male hair loss and thinning hair. Not all potential hair loss products are created equal. Some hair loss products are designed to only cover up the signs of hair loss, such as wigs, toupees, and hair dyes. Other hair loss treatments lack scientific background for their claims to treat hair loss. Because hair loss is an emotional event for most men, much time and money is spent searching for a hair loss solution in the form of hair loss medications, cover-ups, and transplants.
Male Hair Loss Treatment: Prescription Hair Loss Medication
Male hair loss is generally regarded as natural, and not a disease. Nevertheless, many men choose to pursue the use of prescription medications as a hair loss treatment. The most popular of these prescription hair loss m
edications is Propecia. Propecia is the brand name of finasteride, a chemical that partially blocks the effects of male hormones that are thought to contribute to male hair loss.
While Propecia has shown some effectiveness as a hair loss treatment, it is not a natural solution to male hair loss. It requires a physician’s visit for a prescription, and has sexual side effects in some users. Its effects wear off immediately upon discontinuing use, resulting in further hair loss. A one month supply of Propecia costs approximately $70-$100, making it one of the more expensive hair loss treatments on the market.
By contrast, Procerin for male hair loss is available without a prescription. It is a natural hair loss product, with no dangerous chemicals or side effects. Procerin is a safe alternative to prescription hair loss treatments. Procerin is the only all-natural hair loss solution backed by our 90-Day Guarantee.
