The number one way is to bleach your teeth! This can easily be done with Crest whitestrips, tray bleaching or chairside bleaching with your dentist. Tray bleaching is my preferred method, sinceit can be touched up easily and affordably in a night or two. Chairside bleaching is ok, but it can requiremultiple costly treatments and touchups are can be expensive if not included inthe initial fee. White Strips have thesame cost each time they are used and many of my patients have found themyucky!
The number two way is bonding. If you have a misshapen or rotated tooth orif the shapes of your teeth create a smile you don’t like, then a traineddentist can painlessly change your smile by adding a bonded composite materialto your teeth. Minimally bonded smilescan look great and tend to look more natural than a fully veneered smile. When people see your new smile, they usuallynotice your own, natural teeth, not the small altered portion. Bonding, combined with a prior bleachingtreatment, is one of your best options for teeth that look wonderful. Althoughbonded teeth can look great, they do sometimes pick up stain and the texturebonded surfaces can change over time.
The number three way is Crowns or implants. Use these options to fix any individualunsightly or missing teeth. All Porcelain (metal free) Crowns cover a tooth andtend to strengthen it, while remaining extremely esthetic. They do require considerable reduction oftooth. Although crowns often improve atooth’s ability to withstand the vertical forces involved with chewing, theysometimes weaken its ability to withstand horizontal forces (dentists don’tlike to make crowns for prize fighters!). If you need a single toothreplacement, an implant is often a terrific way to replace it, assuming youhave enough bone remaining in the space to hold an implant. To have an implant tooth, first your dentistinserts an implant in the bone where you lost a tooth. The implant almost looks like a titaniumversion of the plastic inserts people place into plaster walls to holdscrews. After the implant has been inyour mouth from 4-6 months it’s ready for your dentist to screw in a post andfabricate a crown. Implant crowns alsocan be all porcelain (metal free). Sometimes implant sites need to be grafted with bone prior to implantplacement to improve cosmetics and the function of the final implant crown.
The number four way is to keep teeth clean. Use an electric toothbrush; my favorite is aBraun Oral-B r
echargeable electric tooth brush (any rechargeable model is good)Then start flossing! Healthy gums are definitely part of a beautiful smile. Nomatter how nice your teeth look, if your gums are red and unhealthy your smilewill be unappealing. So it makes senseto take care of your teeth at home by brushing and flossing and be sure to haveregular cleanings at the dentist (every 3-6 months).
The number five way is to have your teeth straightenedwith braces. Both conventionalorthodontics and Invisalign clear braces (invisible trays) are great optionsthese days. Conventional braces move your teeth using wires and brackets onteeth (to hold the wire). The wireexerts tension on different teeth to move them into more desirablepositions. Invisalign is relatively newand uses a series of clear invisible plastic trays to gradually move the teethinto a better position. While undergoingtreatment patients are encouraged to wear the trays up to 23 hours a day andonly remove them while eating and brushing their teeth. Sometimes straightening just the front andside teeth will dramatically improves your smile. With the Invisaligntechnique, straightening can be accomplished in as few as 18 weeks.
The number six ways is to have porcelain laminates placedon your teeth. This is truly one-stopshopping; Teeth are whitened, straightened and made to look younger in about aweek or two! This treatment option works by resurfacing your front teeth with athin veneer of bonded porcelain. Porcelain laminates are best for improvingsmiles in which teeth are worn, poorly positioned or discolored. If done wellthey often last for 10 years or more and porcelain doesn’t show wear as much asbonded teeth do, so that they keep their glossy surface indefinitely. Also amajor advantage porcelain laminates vs. bonding is that laminates are createdaway from the mouth. Following instructions of your dentist, their look iscreated by a highly artistic lab technician who often specializes solely incrafting beautiful porcelain laminates. Your dentist is not necessarilyrequired to be the artist and create the exact changes needed on the spot, theway he would with bonding. However, porcelain laminates do require an exacting bonding technique (bonding as ingluing) and can, over time, pick up stains at the seam where the laminate meetthe tooth.
And finally the number seven way is be happy! Think happythoughts when you’re smiling! Good looking smiles can’t be fake or forced. If it is true that we smile when we are happyand that we are happy when we smile, then maybe, just maybe, fixing your smilewill make you happier. I hope so and I hope this article has been informative.

Weight training has a lot to say for itself and should be adopted as a part of one’s daily life, at home and while working around the house. Weight bearing exercises not only retain muscular strength but also delay the loss of muscle mass and bone density as well.
. Biceps Curls: Stand with feet apart. Carry dumbbells or two water bottles(one in each hand). Flex the elbow, lift the water bottle or dumbbell towards the shoulder and bring it back to the starting point without locking the elbow. Exhale as you take the arm up and inhale when you bring the arm down. Repeat it 16-24 times. This exercise will strengthen the muscles of the arm.
. Shoulder Press: Standing in the same position, take both arms overhead taking the weights towards the ceiling. Bring the arms back to the shoulder level. Repeat it 16-24 times. This exercise will strengthen the shoulders.
. Squats: Standing in the same position, place the water bottle or dumbbell on the shoulder. Lower the hips toward the floor making sure that the hips are pushed back, like you are trying to sit on a chair. Repeat it 16-24 times. This exercise will strengthen all the muscles in the lower body.
Random Tip: Weight train at home using stability ball is an effective and cheap way to exercise.
Muscular soreness port-exercises is the bane of some of the women. Women just hate to be sore the day after a workout. Weight Training effects muscles in a positive way but it does result in DOMS or a delayed onset of muscular soreness. this is a natural physiological response to weight training and goes away the day after.
Must Read: Workout and Exercise Tips for Firm Breast at http://www.weightloss-health.com/exercise%20firm%20breast.htm
As one ages, the muscle mass starts reducing in size and strength as does the density of bones.
Post menopausal women get tired very fast and cant cope with day-to-day activities as easily as they could in younger years. These women are also plagued with inexplicable pain in the joints or the back. Weight bearing exercises are a boon for women of this age.
Random Fact: Weight training helps in more ways than one. It makes you stronger and slimmer without making you look like a wrestler.

It’s the point of no return, and no one can talk you out of whatever decision you have already made. When you’ve reached that certain stage in your career where you are completely disillusioned with your job and and where you no longer get any satisfaction and fulfillment in everything that you do, it’s high time that you give yourself not just a break but freedom from burnout, stress and anxiety that have been tearing your world apart.
Burnout, Stress & Anxiety
Burnout is characterized by deep-seated sense of disillusionment and exhaustion with a job or career that used to provide so much excitement and motivation. It happens even to highly committed and passionate individuals who encounter problems or get involved in situations where their enthusiasm and passion are gradually being stripped away and eventually losing the drive to continue going on.
Stress is anything that causes bodily and mental tension which may lead to anxiety and other illnesses. It can be a situation or a thought that can weigh you down or make you feel frustrated and angry. On the other hand, anxiety is a feeling of uneasiness and apprehension over something that is recognized or unknown.
Stress and anxiety are normal parts of everyday life. Both can motivate a person to be productive and to rise up to the challenge of tough situations. However, too much stress and too much anxiety can be harmful and may cause physical, emotional, and psychological problems like infection, heart diseases, and depression. Stress and anxiety at workplace can lead to burnout.
Dealing With Burnout
Different individuals have varied ways of dealing with stressful situations such as burnout. Taking a much needed vacation may address the problem of exhaustion and boredom but may not be effective in totally eliminating the sense of disillusionment, stress and anxiety.
l Going Through The Motions – Some people deal with burnout by not dealing with it at all. To accept it and not do anything about it is one of the worst way to deal with burnout. Such indifference will soon result to anger and bitterness as opportunities pass you by. People will notice the attitude of just “going through the motions” for the sake of doing or accomplishing things, or just for the sake of income which the job brings. Eventually, they will regard you as “doomed” unless you change the situation.
l Career Change – When the passion and drive that used to inspire you to do your best has been snuffed out, disabling you from going on further with your career, make that shift. A new profession will certainly give you a new perspective. However, changing career may n
ot credit some of the precious experiences you have already gained as relevant to your new-found endeavor. Moreover, competition will put you with much younger people who are willing to accept lower salaries, thus, affect your bargaining power. In addition, the demands of a new career may be much more difficult to handle due to your lack of experience than just successfully turning a temporary burnout situation around.
l Changing Jobs – As compared to career change, a change of job within the same field of endeavor or profession is just like having the same job but in a totally different environment. Your skills and the previous experiences you have acquired will be transferable and allows you to rededicate your original goals to start anew, without being reminded of the burdens that come with staying on the same job. Those individuals who were disillusioned their previous employers may benefit in job change. However, the downside of this response is the possibility that you may end up with the same situation again if the cause of burnout is the job itself and not the other factors such as management and co-workers. Taking this step positively, one must really understand the cause of burnout and make sure to avoid it.
l Wake-up Call – Some people manage through burnout situations by considering it as a trigger to re-evaluate their lifestyles and what they want to achieve. This form of stress management is one of the most positive ways to cope up with burnout. It is dealing with the sense of failure by talking with somebody who may have experienced the same situation and help you realized without bias why after all the inputs you have generously given and efforts you have exerted to do well did not worked out to your advantage. This person should not be from the same company to avoid prejudice which may only complicate matters. Sometimes, this is all that is needed to relieve stress and anxiety that leads to burnout. The realization may lead you to yourself or to other people as the one to be blamed. But what is important is to be able to move on without dwelling further on blame and guilt.
Moving On
When people come to terms with the situation, they will learn that hard work is not the only thing that matters, that major achievements need the support of other people, and most importantly, that they are not superhuman. They will learn to spot and communicate problems early on to avoid repeating the same mistakes. Consult with your healthcare providers regarding therapies and stress management programs in order to help you move on from a burnout situation, stress and anxiety to rise above the demands of a new and challenging career.

Male hair regrowth becomes a hot topic as men age and enter the crucial 18-35 phase so characteristic of hair loss and notorious for balding. The relentless retreat of disappearing hair signals the onset of a lot of emotional and personal battles within oneself. Appearance becomes all important.
Male hair regrowth is no myth. There are products like Procerin out there that put quite a few feathers in the cap (read hair for feathers and don’t read wig for cap) of the hair hunter. But it takes time to get to the right stuff. And it is also true that uneasy lies the head that wears a balding crown.
Before we ponder on male hair regrowth, it is best to know why we lose hair and when. Hair loss usually starts in the 20s in the average male prone to hair loss – either genetically or due to lifestyle and living conditions, testosterone injections and food supplements.
Case studies reveal that 92% of men with hair loss, baldness, receding hairlines and thinning hair suffer from a condition known as Androgenetic Alopecia. Very high levels of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the scalp characterize this condition. DHT slowss and halts hair growth and also makes hair brittle, lighter in color, and fall out at a much faster rate than considered normal.
5 Alpha Reductase – an enzyme produced naturally in the human body, converts the male hormone testosterone into another hormone known as Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). So, inhibiting 5-alpha-reductase is the correct way to prevent hair loss and male pattern balding as this enzyme is immediately responsible for the production of DHT.
Male hair regrowth seems more a possibility than ever when you discover that Procerin inhibits DHT production and also helps
regrow hair faster. Procerin is a completely natural and easy-to-use product that lets you regrow hair without painful procedures and long drawn out treatments.
Procerin is made of Saw Palmetto, Magnesium, Zinc Sulfate, Vitamin B-6, Pyroxidine 5mg, CJ-11 Factor, CJ-9 Factor, and a proprietary blend of Gotu Kola, Nettles, Pumpkin seed meal, Siberian Ginseng, Yohimbe, Muira Puma Root, Uwa Ursi and more. In short, a potent mix of DHT blockers, vitamins and herbal/mineral supplements each with a unique reputation in addressing hair and skin related problems. They halt chemical reactions which transform testosterone into DHT, and reduce levels of DHT present in the scalp. People have seen results within two months with Procerin. So can you.
Procerin – because hair is more manly than unwanted testosterone.

You buy them and they don’t get the job done. Anti cellulite pills, lotions, gadgets, rubber tights and other silly money wasters that sell you hope and nothing else. The truth is, your best weapons in your battle against unwelcome cellulite are a smart nutritional routine and a consistent, properly structured workout program.
I’ll assume you have a pretty good handle on the nutritional component.
As for the properly structured workout program, which you may indeed have, I’ve put together a butt, hip and thigh routine which you can incorporate into your current workouts. This routine specifically targets the areas where the appearance of cellulite tends to show up.
Keep in mind, I’ve been training people since the late eighties. Speaking strictly from experience, I can tell you that the following routine is responsible for helping many women dramatically change the appearance of their cellulite areas.
Lying on your side, do 10 reps of each exercise:
1) Bring both knees forward so your hips are at a 90 degree angle. Then straighten your top leg out in front of you, still keeping 90 degrees at the hip. Lift the top leg slowly about three feet off the ground & down.
2) Straighten both legs so your body is in a straight line. Tilt the hips forward slightly. Lift the top leg about three feet off the ground & down.
3) Put your top leg out in front of you, on the ground. Move your bottom leg forward slightly. Lift the bottom leg about 8 – 12 inches off the ground & down.
4) Repeat all 3 on the other side.
On the elbows and knees, do 10 reps of each exercise:
1) Extend one leg straight back with your toe on the ground. Lift that leg up toward the ceiling & down. Then switch legs.
2) Lift your knee off the floor. Extend that same heel back and up so your leg is pointing toward the ceiling & then bring the knee back into you. Then switch legs.
Standing up, do 10 reps of each exercise:
1) Start with your feet together. Step out in front in to a lunge position. Touch the ground with opposite hand. Come back up & step back to the starting position. Then switch legs.
2) Put one foot up on a step (12 – 18 inches high). Slowly step up and down with the other foot. Then switch legs.
If this routine is easy try going through it twice. If you still need more of a challenge, increase the reps to 15 or 20 per set.

Testosterone enantate is an ester of the naturally occurring andro-gen, testosterone. It is responsible for the normal development of the male sex characteristics. In the event of insufficient testosterone production an almost complete balance of the functional, anatomic, and psychic deficiency symptoms can be achieved by substituting testosterone.” (Excerpt from the package insert of the German phar-maceutical group, Jenapharm GmbH for its compound Testosteron–Depot.)
These lines clearly describe what an important and effective hor-mone testosterone is. One of the many testosterone substances is the testosterone enanthate. In a man it is normally used to treat hypogonadism resulting from androgen deficiency (1) and anemia (2). Surprisingly, in medical schools testosterone enanthate is also used in women and children. Boys and male youth take it as growth therapy and women take it as an “additive treatment for certain growth forms of the nipples during post-menopause”. In bodybuilding, however, it is THE “mass building steroid.” No matter what you think of Dianabol, Parabolan, Anadrol 50, FinaJect, and others, when it comes to strength, muscle mass, and rapid weight gains, testosterone is still the “King of the Road.” Testosterone enanthate is the European counterpart to Test-osterone cypionate which is predominantly available in the U.S. (see also Test. Cyp.). Testosterone enanthate, as most trade names already suggest, is a long-acting depot steroid. Depending on the metabolism and the body’s initial hormone level it has a duration of effect of two to three weeks so that theoretically very long intervals between injections are possible. Although Testosterone enanthate is effective for several weeks, it is injected at least once a week in body-building, powerlifting, and weightlifting. This, by all means, makes sense since Testosterone enanthate has a plasma half-life time in the blood of only one week.
The decisive advantage of Testosterone enanthate, however, is that this substance has a very strong androgenic effect and is coupled with an intense anabolic component. This allows almost everyone, within a short time, to build up a lot of strength and mass. The, rapid and strong weight gain is combined with distinct water reten-tion since a retention of electrolytes and water occurs. A pleasant effect is that the enormous strength gain goes hand in hand with the water retention. Weightlifters and powerlifters, especially in the higher weight classes, appreciate this characteristic. In this group, Testosterone enanthate, Testosterone cypionate, and Sustanon (see also Sustanon) are the number one steroids; this is also clearly re-flected in the dosages. Dosages of 500 mg, 1000 mg or even 2000 mg per day are no rarity-mind you, per day, not per week. Sports disciplines requiring a high degree of raw power, aggressiveness, and stamina offer an excellent application for Depot-Testosterone. The distinct water retention has also other advantages. Those who have problems with their joints, shoul-der cartilages or whose intervertebral disks, due to years of heavy training, show the first signs of wear, can get temporary relief by taking testosterone.
For the bodybuilder, the water retention that goes hand in hand with Testosterone enanthate cuts both ways. Certainly, one gets rap-idly massive and strong; however, one’s reflected image after a few weeks often shows completely flat, watery, and puffy muscles. The muscles appear as if they have been pumped up with air’ to new dimensions, yet during flexing nothing happens. Those who do not believe this should bother to go visit the so-called “bodybuilding champions” during the OFF-season when these exaggerated quanti-ties of “Testo” come in. A look at the now defunct bodybuilding magazine WBF makes it even clearer. An additional problem when taking T
estosterone enanthate is that the conversion rate to estrogen is very high. This, on one hand, leads the body to store more fat; on the other hand, feminization symptoms (gynecomastia) are not unusual. However, it must be clearly stated that this depends on the athlete’s predisposition. By all means, there are athletes who even with 1000 mg +/week do not show feminization symptoms or fat deposits and who suffer very low water retention. Others, however, develop pain in their nipples by simply looking at a Testoviron- Depot ampule. Yet the additional intake of Nolvadex and Proviron should be considered at a dosage level of 500 mg+ /week. As already mentioned, Testo is effective for everyone, whether a beginner or Mr. Olympia. Testosterone enanthate also strongly promotes the regeneration process. This leads to distinctly shorter overcompensation phases, an increased feeling of well-being, and a distinct energy increase. This is also the reason why several athletes are able to work out twice daily for several hours six times a week and continue to build up mass and strength. Those who can work out again two hours after a hard leg workout know that Testo works. Athletes who take Testosterone enanthate report an excessively strong pump effect during training. This “steroid pump” is attributed to an increased blood volume with a higher oxygen supply and a higher quantity of red blood cells. Those who take megadoses of Testosterone enanthate will already feel an enormous pump in their upper thighs and calves when climbing stairs. Despite this we recommend that steroid novices stay away from all testosterone compounds. To make it very clear: Those who have never taken steroids do not yet need any testosterone and should wait until later when the “weaker” steroids begin to have little effect. For the more advanced, Testosterone enanthate can either be taken alone or in combination with other compounds.
For adding mass Testosterone enanthate combines very well with Anadrol 50, Dianabol, Deca-Durabolin, and Parabolan. As an example, a stack of 100 mg Anadrol 50/day, 200 mg Deca-Durabolin/ week, and 500 mg Testosterone enanthate/week works well. After six weeks of intake the Anadrol 50, for example, could be replaced by 40 mg Dianabol/day. Principally, Testosterone enanthate can be combined with any steroid in order to gain mass. Apparently a synergetic effect between the androgen, Testosterone enanthate, and the anabolic steroids occurs which results in their bonding witli several receptors. Those who draw too much water with Testosterone enanthate and Dianabol or Anadrol, or who are more intere6ted in strength without gaining 20 pounds of body weight should take Testosterone enanthate together with Oxandrolone or Winstrol. The generally taken dose-as already mentioned-varies from 250 mg/ week up to 2000 mg/day. In our opinion the most sensible dosage for most athletes is between 250-1000 mg/week. Normally a higher dosage should not be necessary When taking up to 500 mg/week the dosage is normally taken all at once, thus 2 ml of solution are injected. A higher dosage should be divided into two injections per week. The quantity of the dose should be determined by the athlete’s developmental stage, his goals, and the quantity of his previous steroid intake. The so called beach and disco bodybuilders do not need 1000 mg of Testosterone enanthate/week. Our experience is that the Testosterone enanthate dosage for many, above all, depends on their financial resources. Since it is not, by any means, the most economic testosterone, most athletes do not take too much. Others switch to the cheaper Omnadren and because of the low price con-finue “shooting” Omnadren. Testosterone enanthate has a strong influ
ence on the hypothalamohypophysial testicular axis. The hypophysis is inhibited by a positive feedback. This leads to a negative influence on the endogenic testosterone production. Possible effects are described by the German Jenapharm GmbH in their package insert for the com-pound Testosteron Depot: ” In a high-dosed treatment with testosterone compounds an often reversible interruption or reduction of the spermatogenesis in the testes is to be expected and consequently also a reduction of the testes size.” Consequently, after reading these statements, additional intake of HCG should be considered.

Women are more prone to workplace because of the many roles they play in life: as career woman, wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Women work way beyond the 9-5 shift, often having to rush home to cook dinner, help the kids with homework, and prepare the next day’s office attire for the hubby. The stress and anxiety caused by endless tasks and impossible deadlines in a high-speed, high-tech world has made women’s lives a living web of complexity.
The question is: How can women cope with stress and anxiety? The first step is to dissect the problem and understand how these psychological and emotional conditions make women’s lives more difficult.
Stress is a combination of fatigue, restlessness, depression, over-focusing, and over-all gloominess that is a consequence of overwork and other domestic or personal problems. The difficulty of trying to balance time between work and the home has caused many women to suffer from stress. Personal or relationship issues like divorce or separation have also been the cause of anxiety panic attacks among women. Women who own and manage their own business are also prone to stress. Their high drive for business success cannot always protect them from times of depression and overwork. Career women, on the other hand, have to confront office politics, gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and the fear of being laid-off.
But there’s still hope for over-worked, stressed women. Here are some practical ways for women to reduce and manage work-related stress:
1. Put up relaxing scenes- It could be a poster or a small painting with beautiful scenery. You can even download screen savers of beaches, waterfalls, clear lakes and other scenes that help create a serene mood.
2. The To-Do-List- Use that Post-Its or other stick-on note pads. Color-code your notes and even put up an “alarm” in your computer to remind you of priority tasks. The key is to know what to do first.
3. Time out – As they say, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Take some time out to take a breather. Do way from reading emails the mostly junk. Do stimulating activities like sudoku or brainteaser. Reading some inspirational books like Chicken Soup for the Soul.
4.
Rearrange your workstation – Add some “homey” look to your workstation… put up photo frames of your family or favorite pet. When ever you feel stressed out just glance at their happy faces or cuteness —and you’ll find yourself smiling back!
5. When a plant isn’t just a plant – Having a plant around your workplace is good stress relief. Studies show that looking at something green like a plant helps soothe your eyes after facing the computer monitor all day or after reading for a long time. Focusing on a green plant will have a soothing effect.
6. Exercise – Walking, climbing the stairs, or going out to run helps fight stress. Physical activity help get rid of tension. During a workout, your body releases endorphins which helps your body to relax. Endorphins also act as natural pain killers. There are a lot of exercise videos that you can use ranging from the standard aerobics to pilates, tae-bo, and a host of other fitness programs.
7. De-clutter- A cluttered workstation like pens, pencils, notepads, tons of papers spread around every inch of your work place adds to your stress. Make your work environment more appealing by organizing your things and throwing away things you no longer need.
8. Set Boundaries- Communicate and assert yourself, make your co-workers know when you are more available for chit chat.
9. Go less in your caffeine intake- caffeine even is popularly known as a stimulant, too much of it adds to stress even leads to depression.
10. Eat a good breakfast- Don’ skip meals even if you are indeed in a hurry. Studies shows that if you make it a practice to eat breakfast every day, you’re body gets more the needed proteins to give you an energy boost to face the working day.
Beat work-related stress without beating yourself up. Learn how to relax. Sure…we have duties and responsibilities but if you don’t learn to relax—burn out is what you get! Make an effort to relax. Listen to good music. Try not to smoke. Because if you don’t watch out, the results would be hypertension…depression… and a plethora of other ailments that can sidetrack your career and home life. It’s time to regain a sense of balance if you want to stay alive for a long, long, long time.

The hair cycling procedure parallels morphogenesis in that it involves multiple signalling events incorporating developmental pathways – the same reoccur during the different hair cycle stages. The hair cycle includes a complex remodelling and regenerating of the complete non-permanent portion of the hair follicle.
Anagen
The anagen phase, experiences the active growth of hair and deposit of materials in the hair shaft by cells found in the hair follicle. There are certain metabolically active and dividing cells above and around the dermal papilla of the follicle – they grow upward during this phase to form the hair shaft. The anagen phase is chracterized by the growth of the hair, but more importantly, it is characterized by a highly increased proliferative rate of all hair follicle cells in all epithelial compartments with the highest activity observed in matrix cells.
Catagen
The anagen phase is followed by catagen phase which is short stage in which the hair follicle regresses and dismantles the hair growing part of the hair follicle. This phase can be divided into eight subphases starting with late anagen and ending in early telogen. The hair follicles undergo regression during this phase and this phenomenon is characterized by a cessation of protein and pigment production, involution of the hair follicle and a fundamental re
structuring of the extracellular matrix. Also, massive apotosis in the bulbar, transient, portion of the hair follicle contributes to regression of the hair follicle and the formation of a fibrous streamer in the skin.
Telogen
The regression continues with the telogen phase – now the hair follicle has regressed to about half of its previous size and does not extend beyond the upper dermis. Morphologically, a “finger” of epithelial cells overlies a cluster of dermal fibroblasts; the remains of the dermal papilla. In this phase the dermal papilla ceases to be enveloped by surrounding epithelial cells. It now sits as a small ball of cells in close association with the epithelial cell finger. The epithelial cells of the lower telogen follicle are characterised by the absence of DNA or RNA synthesis.
Kenogen
Scientists observed a novel phenomenon in hair cycling when they used phototrichograms to study hair growth – the empty hair follicles were noticed even after shedding of the hair fiber. Thus the term “kenogen” was coined to describe the interval of the hair cycle in which the hair follicle remains empty after the telogen hair has been extruded and before a new anagen hair reappears.

Tiger Woods is the only one I know who has the ability to stop his down swing on a dime when it just does not feel right to go through with it. How does he do it? Over the years I have been able to teach myself one of the most important elements in making the most out of my workouts. What is it? It’s the ability to tune everyone, everything and every sound out in a blink of an eye.
We see it played out in movies where a baseball pitcher blocks out all the roaring fans and only concentrates on the catcher’s mitt in silence. This is the keen ability to focus with lazar like power.
One of the main reasons I became a champion bodybuilder at very young age is because I have mastered this technique. Today, I walk into a gym, step on a treadmill, or go out for a walk and the only thing I am aware of is the task at hand. I block every one and every thing out. No it is not always easy, but it is very effective.
This is not a technique you can read about in an anatomy book, it will take practice on your part. It is a discipline within itself.
Here are some general workout rules that have helped me master the art of focus during my workouts
1. Go through your workout in your mind first before you even get to the gym.
2. Take a water bottle – eliminate all excess wasted time.
3. NO cell phones during a workout – This goes without saying.
4. Visual the muscle that is moving the weight.
5. Work the room just like a social gathering.
6. Keep a flow into your workouts.
7. Practice every single workout – over and over and over again.
If you want to get the most from your workouts you need to work smarter rather than harder. Focusing on the task at hand in a lazar like fashion may be the key to you being a champion in your own right.
