Collagen is a natural protein found throughout the body in the skin, muscles, tendons, and bones in all of us. As we age, the collagen fibers, which are woven together, like threads in fabric, begin to weaken. Our bodies’ collagen provides natural texture, resiliency, and shape. We lose collagen as we grow older. Cosmetic collagen was developed in the 1970’s by physicians at Stanford University from bovine collagen.

Autologous fat is removed from another part of the body and injected into areas of the face to help lessen the signs of aging or to cosmetically make small lips larger. To deal with small lips , don’t over line them to make them appear larger. The technique for creating a new lip line works great in pho
tographs but in real life it looks like you missed your mouth and to keep up the look, you have to touch up your lipstick the second any wears off. What works best is lining just to the outside or edge of your true lip line with a natural colored lip liner. Don’t wear a dark lipstick because it will make your lips look smaller.

A true red or any vivid color will make your lips look bigger. If these techniques don’t make your small lips appear larger, you may want to consider cosmetic surgery procedures that enlarge small lips but that would be a last resort after experimenting with lipsticks options. Contact a professional for more information and discuss any concerns for small lips with your health care provider.

Acne affects all people of all ages from all walks of life. It makes no exceptions. Acne is commonly known as pimple or zit. Acne is a skin condition which is common across the globe. These factors clog the pores and the result is acne. This is mainly because of hormone level fluctuations and increased sebum production. This is mainly found on the various parts of the body such as back, face, shoulders, neck and chest. It develops when the pores on your skin get plugged. This happens due to the action of hormones and other substances on your skin’s oil glands. It is the most common among teenagers in puberty, but can also affect infants, teenagers and adults alike. It is also not limited to any creed or race.  One of the major causes of acne is increase in hormones known as androgens. This is caused in both boys and girls during the period of puberty and makes the sebaceous glands enlarge and creates more sebum. Another cause of acne is heredity which can be inherited from parents. The skin lesions formed by acne can take on several forms, with the most common type known as acne vulgaris. While skin lesions are most frequently found on the the face, they may also be present on the chest, back, shoulders and upper arms

Actually, acne is such a common condition that it affects approximately 85% people between the ages of 12 and  24. 25% of this 85% suffer from acne in other places besides the face. Many teens will withdraw from social activities and will often feel anger and frustration. As a matter of fact, acne can be so severe that you can be forced to seek medical help, which is done by at least 40% of all acne sufferers. Acne scars result from two types of tissue response to the inflammation of acne: (1) increased tissue formation, and (2) loss of tissue. Both may leave behind acne scar. Scars caused by increased tissue formation are caused by a build up of collagen in the skin. These are called hypertrophic and keloid scars.  For many teenagers acne can result in feelings of depression and a lower self-esteem. It usually clears up within a year. Rosacea  is called “adult acne.” It usually appears in patients over 30 and causes a rash on the cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. Pimples and other skin blemishes may also occur.
It is more common in females than males, but men usually have more severe symptoms. There are many myths among public on acne prevention. Many people do various things like – scrubbing face all day, eating various foods, avoiding sweat, exercising, and so on. But, in reality, these have nothing to do with preventing acne.

Severe Types of Acne is men and women. First is Nodules are larger than other types of acne. These are hard lumps which form beneath the surface of the skin causing pain and discomfort. Nodules are particularly vulnerable to scarring, so should be treated by a dermatologist. Second is Cysts are also a more severe type of acne. They are similar to nodules except they are filled with pus and can be extremely painful. Cysts are also likely to cause scars, and should be treated by a dermatologist.  Third is Conglobata  is a rare type of Acne Vulgaris which causes extreme disfigurement. It is characterized by large lesions and blackheads on the face, chest, back, buttocks, upper arms, and thighs. It is extremely painful and can cause psychological suffering, as well as lead to permanent scarring. Fourth is Acne Conglobata can last for several years and is more common in males than females. Fifth is Gram-Negative Folliculitis is a condition associated with the long-term use of antibiotics. It is a bacterial infection which causes pustules and cysts to form on the skin. Six is Pyoderma Faciale-This type of acne only affects adult females, most of whom have never before had acne. Large painful pustules, nodules and cysts form on the face which can cause permanent scarring.

Treatment of Various types of Acne

Resorcinol – This is helpful in breaking down the whiteheads and blackheads.

Benzoyl Peroxide –It is helpful in reducing production of oil and destroys the bacteria P.acnes.

Sulfur – It breaks down the whiteheads and blackheads.

Salicylic Acid –It also eliminates the shedding of cells which are under the hair follicles.

Light therapy and acupuncture are two natural remedies that have their fans. Light therapy is expensive, but for many very helpful. It involves treatments of light in wavelengths that many believe kills bacteria.

It’s no longer called impotence. Now it’s called erectile dysfunction (ED), and it is extremely common. Half of all men will suffer from ED at some point in their lives, and about 70% of the time, it’s due to a physical problem such as vascular/heart disease, diabetes, or vitamin deficiency. This is good news, as it means the condition is treatable. In addition, there is a lot of evidence that vitamin nutritional supplements are effective in treating erectile dysfunction.

Survey the Science

It’s important to carefully consider the science and safety behind vitamin nutritional supplements for ED. Anyone who uses the Internet knows there are many charlatans these days making outlandish claims about ED treatments. Vitamins that address ED have been studied widely, and we’ll look at three of these nutritional supplements here.

Studies on Asian Ginseng

Asian Ginseng root (Panax or Korean Ginseng) has been used for hundreds of years in Asia for male potency. It has been researched extensively, mostly in Asia. One clinical study, published in the Korean in 2006, indicated that Asian Ginseng increased erectile function in ED patients, without affecting hormone, liver or renal levels. No toxic side effects of this supplement were noted in the study.

In a 2002 Korean study of 45 ED patients, it also showed Asian Ginseng increased ED function. In Brazil, a study of 60 ED patients showed Asian Ginseng as part of a vitamin supplement made significant improvement in ED without affecting testosterone. In the U.S., there was a 2002 study on animals that showed Asian Ginseng increased both libido and male performance.

There are a variety of well-researched health benefits of this nutritional supplement(http://www.mitamins.com). Caution should be exercised when combining Asian Ginseng with insulin, warfarin, caffeine, phenelzine, and certain drugs for low blood sugar.

Ginkgo Biloba and ED

Ginkgo biloba is a popular herbal nutritional supplement used to help with variety of health problems. It is commonly utilized as a natural treatment of circulatory problems, because it is a blood vessel dilator, it increases peripheral circulation, and it decreases blood platelet stickiness. It is therefore used to help erectile dysfunction, which is caused by circulatory problems. There have been two clinical studies in 1991 and 1998 that indicate its efficacy for ED as part of a vitamin supplement; there are dozens of studies on ginkgo for various other health disorders. There are some herb-drug and herb-vitamin interactions, so check with your doctor first if you’re on meds or any multi vitamins(http://www.mitamins.com).

Introducing Muira Puama

Muira Puama (also called murapuama), an herb(http://www.mitamins.com) from the Amazon rainforest, originally was taken as a nutritional supplement for male potency by South American indigenous peoples. There have been multiple studies indicating Muira Puama’s efficacy for ED. Notably, in one study in France of 262 ED patients, there was significant improvement in 90% of the participants. No drug-herb or herb-vitamin interactions are yet known.

Quit Smoking?

Multiple clinical studies show a connection between smoking and ED. Yes, time to quit. Sex – as well as your health – is way more important than tobacco!

After your doctor screens you for the cause of your erectile dysfunction, you are free to try a variety nutritional supplements or vitamins that have been clinically tested and have been an integral part of traditional medicine globally for male potency for centuries.

Acne is a skin condition that shows up as different types of bumps. It makes no exceptions. Acne is commonly known as pimple or zit. Acne is a skin condition which is common across the globe. Acne affects most teenagers to some extent.  These factors clog the pores and the result is acne. This is mainly because of hormone level fluctuations and increased sebum production. Acne develops when the hair follicle of skin gets plugged by overproduction of sebum, dead cells and become infected by bacteria.  it can affect people from ages 10 through 40. It is not unusual for women, in particular, to develop acne in their mid-to-late 20’s, even if they have not had breakouts in years (or ever). Acne affects people of all skin colours. The processes that cause acne are exactly the same in people with black or brown skin but the impact is altered by the skin pigmentation. While skin lesions are most frequently found on the the face, they may also be present on the chest, back, shoulders and upper arms.

There are many misconceptions and rumours about acne. Lesion—a physical change in body tissue caused by disease or injury. Hyperactive sebaceous glands, secondary to the three hormone sources above. Acne lesions range in severity from comedones (blackheads and whiteheads) to nodules and cysts. Skin irritation or scratching of any sort will activate inflammation.  Traditionally, attention has focused mostly on hormone-driven over-production of sebum as the main contributing factor of acne. More recently, more attention has been given to narrowing of the follicle channel as a second main contributing factor. Abnormal shedding of the cells lining the follicle, abnormal cell binding (“hyperkeratinization”) within the follicle, and water retention in the skin (swelling the skin and so pressing the follicles shut) have all been put forward as important mechanisms. Several hormones have been linked to acne: the male hormones testosterone, dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), as well as insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-I). In addition, acne-prone skin has been shown to be insulin resistant. Seafood often contains relatively high levels of iodine.

Severe acne often leaves small scars where the skin gets a “volcanic” shape. Many type of acne is affected for adults. Cysts and nodules often occur together in a severe form of acne called nodulocystic. Nodule like a papule, a nodule is a solid, dome-shaped or irregularly-shaped lesion. A nodule may be very painful. Comedo is a sebaceous follicle plugged with sebum, dead cells from inside the
sebaceous follicle, tiny hairs, and sometimes bacteria.  A closed comedo is commonly called a whitehead. papule is defined as a small (5 millimeters or less), solid lesion slightly elevated above the surface of the skin. Pustule—A dome-shaped, fragile lesion containing pus that typically consists of a mixture of white blood cells, dead skin cells, and bacteria. A pustule that forms over a sebaceous follicle usually has a hair in the center. Acne pustules that heal without progressing to cystic form usually leave no scars. This photo shows pustules, papules and comedones on the face of an acne patient. Macule is the temporary red spot left by a healed acne lesion. It is flat, usually red or red-pink, with a well defined border. Macule may persist for days to weeks before disappearing. Cyst is a sac-like lesion containing liquid or semi-liquid material consisting of white blood cells, dead cells, and bacteria. It is larger than a pustule, may be severely inflamed, extends into deeper layers of the skin, may be very painful, and can result in scarring.  Nodular acne is a severe form of acne that may not respond to therapies other than isotretinoin.

Vitamin D, also called calciferol, is a vitamin that dissolves in the body’s fat. Inflammatory gum disease occurs much less frequently in people older than 50 who have adequate Vitamin D intake. Vitamin D aids in the absorption of calcium, helping to form and maintain strong bones. Vitamin D prevents rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults, which are skeletal diseases that result in defects that weaken bones. It is found in food, but also can be made in your body after exposure to ultraviolet rays from the sun. The major biologic function of vitamin D is to maintain normal blood levels of calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D is naturally produced in the skin by a process that could be thought of as photosynthesis. When skin is exposed to sunlight, a type of cholesterol in the body is converted into a form of vitamin D. Vitamin D also helps to keep teeth and gums healthy, especially in older adults. The best way to get the daily requirement of essential vitamins is to eat a balanced diet that contains a variety of foods from the food guide pyramid.

Benefits of vitamin D:

1. Vitamin D helps in metabolizing calcium and phosphorus in the body.

2. Protect against certain types of cancer.

3. It is important for the formation and maintenance of a healthy bones and teeth.

4. Slow joint damage due to arthritis.

5. One of the benefits of vitamin D is a special anti-cancer potency in the prostate.

Deficiency Symptoms of vitamin D:

Creating special times to bond with your small child is an important part of parenting. The daily bath can be a struggle or a special, relaxing, and fun time for both of you. From your newborn’s first bath, you have the opportunity to teach your child to enjoy the bathing experience. Bathing children the right way from the very beginning can teach them to trust their caregivers and to look forward to time set aside for personal care.

Baby’s first bath at home can be in a special infant tub or in a sink next to a counter or dressing table in a warm room. Gather a fresh diaper, a soft wash cloth, soft towel, mild soap, swabs, lotions, and any other product recommended by your family doctor for baby skin care. Have on hand a small, soft to use during baby’s shampoo. Gently scrubbing baby’s scalp with this soft brush will help eliminate any cradle cap. Use this brush also to style you little one’s hair until baby is ready for a regular brush.

Before undressing your baby, wet the washcloth and gently wash baby’s face, paying special attention to the eye area, ears, and folds under the chin. Then, gently cradle baby’s head in one hand and, using a mild shampoo and the scrub brush, wash and rinse his scalp. Remove baby’s shirt and wash his hands, arms, tummy and back. Then, remove the diaper and wash the diaper area and legs and feet. Wrap him in his big, soft towel and gently pat him dry. Apply any baby skin care products and dress him quickly to keep him warm. If his naval has fallen off and healed, you can set him down in the tub, in a couple of inches of water, while you are washing his body. That way, he can get used to being in water, and you can rinse the soap thoroughly off his skin.

Before placing your infant in the tub, be sure the water is neither hot nor cold. Most babies will prefer water that is skin temperature to slightly warm. Remember to hold your baby securely and to work quickly so your baby does not startle or get cold. Keeping baby comfortable during the experience will help him eventually look forward to bathtime.

When your child is walking, he is ready to move into the big tub, w
ith lots of help. A toddler bath is a teaching experience and play experience, as well as a time to get clean. Let your child help you gather and organize everything you will need: a clean, soft towel and washcloth, mild soap, a mild shampoo, a good, soft bath brush, two or three special bath toys, bath salts or bubble bath to make sudsy bubbles. Don’t use bath oil for very young children. Their skin usually doesn’t need the moisturizers, and the oil can make the tub slippery. If a toddler slips in the tub, he might get hurt or become afraid of the bathtub.

Have your child “help” you fill the tub and add a small amount of bubble bath. Be sensitive to the water temperature your child prefers. Some children prefer a cooler bath than an adult might. Also, be careful of too hot a bath. Often, water heaters are set to a temperature that can scald a young child. Never let your toddler run his own bath. Also, never leave your toddler in a tub of water alone—even for a few seconds. If the doorbell or phone rings and you have to answer, wrap your little one in a towel and take him with you. Toddlers can be scalded or drown in a very short time.
If your child has a fear of water, start with only two or three inches of water in the tub. Let him put his toys in the tub and wash them with the shampoo, soap, and washcloth. Make a game of playing with the bubbles, and a game of getting his skin wet and soapy. Before you know it, a game of “peek-a-boo” using a wet washcloth can result in a washed face. A sudsy back rub can result in a clean child. Carefully avoid getting any soap in his eyes, and be sure to rinse all the soap off your child. Help him rinse, dry, and put away his special toys until the next bathtime. Then, wrap that clean toddler in that fluffy towel and enjoy! With care, your toddler’s bath can be a highlight of the day. Bathing children the right way can strengthen your relationship with your children as well as help them enjoy the rituals of personal grooming.

Over a decade has passed since I crested the hill of age continuum and yet it just dawned on me last year at 53, I should be getting more roll out of my drives than I did before! Seriously I’m no physicists but even I know that golf balls roll further down hill. And I’m definitely over the Hill!

Despite my convoluted theory, the evidence shows that I’m hitting the golf ball shorter and shorter each year. Not only that but I’m twice as pooped after each round! None of this seems fair…not when you consider the thousands of rounds played, hours practiced and dollars spent on golf equipment and golf lessons. All for what? Not since I fired my last financial advisor had I seen and ROI this bad.

In a last ditch effort to salvage my dying personal golf corporation, last spring I made a rather large investment in a robotic massage chair. Passing through the mall after a particularly brutal round of golf I popped in to a novelty store in search of a gift for a nephew. Instead of a present for him I ended up taking a nap in the stores demo shiatsu massage chair!

Needless to say the nap didn’t last long as I was awoken by a pimply sales kid who wanted to tell me all about the model I was sitting and the benefits of  http://www.elitemassagechairs.com
in general. In my foggy, have asleep state, I politely mumbled something about just looking and stumbled out of the store.

It didn’t dawn on me until the next morning what an impact that brief encounter with the massage chair had. For the first time in years I awoke without a stiff back!

A little research online and I found that most experts agree that a good massage can help increase your flexibility, prevent injuries and help you recover faster from a round of golf. Experts aside, I couldn’t argue with the way I felt, and I didn’t want to.

So I did indeed end up purchasing a massage chair, but not that pimply mall sales kid’s model. By doing some massage chair comparison online I found a whole world of superior products. Now I enjoy a massage in the comfort of my living room every morning and every night.

Despite dreams of rewinding my golf game 20 years not coming true, I can say this for sure, now that I regularly use my massage chair I feel a whole heck of a lot better after a round of golf than I did before. I walk on to the first tee with a loose back from my morning massage and that helps to keep me from aggravating my muscles during the round.

I may still be missing out on that extra roll on my drives from golfing over the hill, but at least the enjoyment is back! And that’s what really matters.

http://www.terepharmacy.com/main/clenbuterol.htm” target=”_blank”>Clenbuterol is a widely used bronchodilator in many parts of the world. Clenbuterol is a very interesting and remarkable compound. Clenbuterol is not a steroid hormone but a beta-2-symphatomimetic. The drug is most often prepared in 20mcg tablets, but it is also available in syrup and injectable form. Clenbuterol belongs to a broad group of drugs knows as sympathomimetics. These drugs affect that sympathetic nervous system in a wide number of ways, largely mediated by the distribution of adrenoceptors. There are actually nine different types of these receptors in the body, which are classified as either alpha or beta and further subcategorized by type number. Depending on the specific affinities of these agents for the various receptors, they can potentially be used in the treatment of conditions such as asthma, hypertension, cardiovascular shock, arrhythmias, migraine headaches and anaphylactic shock. The text Goodman and Gillman’s The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics Edition does a good job of describing the diverse nature in which these drugs affect the body. Clenbuterol, above all, has a strong anticatabolic effect, which means it decreases the rate at which protein is reduced in the muscle cell, consequently causing an enlargement of muscle cells.

Most of the actions of catecholamines and sympathomimetic agents can be classified into seven broad types: (1) peripheral excitatory action on certain types of smooth muscles such as those in blood vessels supplying the skin, kidney, and mucous membranes, and on the gland cells, such as those of the salivary and sweat glands; (2) a peripheral inhibitory action on certain other types of smooth muscle, such as those in the wall of the gut, in the bronchial tree, and in blood vessels supplying skeletal muscle; (3) a cardiac excitatory action, responsible for in increase in heart rate and force of contraction; (4) metabolic actions, such as an increase in the rate of glycogenolysis in liver and muscle and liberation of free fatty acids from adipose tissue; (5) endocrine actions, such as modulation of the secretion of insulin, rennin, and pituitary hormones; (6) CNS actions, such as respiratory stimulation and, with some of the drugs, an increase in wakefulness and psychomotor activity and a reduction in appetite; and (7) presynaptic actions that result in either inhibition or facilitation of the release of the neurotransmitters such as such as norepinephrine and acetylcholine.”

The drug clenbuterol is specifically a selective beta-2 sympathomimetic, primarily affecting only one of the three subsets of beta-receptors. Of particular interest is the fact that this drug has little beta-1 stimulating activity. Since beta-1 receptors are closely tied to the cardiac effects of these agents, this allows clenbuterol to reduce reversible airway obstruction (and effect of beta-2 stimulation) with much less cardiovascular side effects compared to nonselective beta agonists. Clinical studies with this
drug show it is extremely effective as a bronchodilator, with a low level of user complaints and high patient compliance. Clenbuterol also exhibits an extremely long half-life in the body, which is measured to be approximately 34 hours. This makes steady blood levels easy to achieve, requiring only a single or twice daily dosing schedule at most. This of course makes it much easier for the patient to use, and may tie in to its high compliance rate. In spite that clenbuterol is available in a wide number of other countries however; this compound has never been approved for use in the United States. The fact that there are a number of similar, effective asthma medications already available in this country may have something to do with this, as a prospective drug firm would likely not find it a profitable enough product to warrant undergoing the expense of the FDA approval process. Regardless, foreign clenbuterol preparations are widely available on the U.S. black market.

HOW TO USE CLENBUTEROL: Numerous athletes use Clenbuterol after steroid treatment to balance the resulting catabolic phase and thus obtain maximum strength and muscle mass. A further aspect of Clenbuterol is its distinct fatburning effect. Clenbuterol burns fat without dieting because it increases the body temperature slightly, forcing the body to burn fat for this process. Due to the higher body temperature Clenbuterol magnifies the effect of anabolic/androgenic steroids taken simultaneously

CLENBUTEROL DOSAGE: Athletes usually take 100-140 mcg/day. For women 80-100 mcg/day are usually sufficient, It is important that the athlete begin by taking only one tablet on the first day and then increasing the dosage by one tablet each of the following days until the desired maximum dosage is reached. The compound is usually taken over a period of 8-10 weeks. Since Clenbuterol is not a hormone compound. It has no has no side effects typical of anabolic steroids. For this reason it is also liked by women.

Side Effects of CLENBUTEROL: Possible side effects of Clenbuterol include restlessness, palpitations, tremor (involuntary trembling of fingers), headache, increased perspiration, insomnia, possible muscle spasms, increased blood pressure, and nausea. Note that these side effects are of a temporary nature and usually subside after 8-10 days, despite continuation of the product.

Many competitors also find the fat burning effect of clenbuterol can be further enhanced by additional substances. When combined with thyroid hormones, specifically the powerful CytomelR, the thermogenic effect can become extremely dramatic. This can be to a point that the athlete could shred exceptional amounts of extra fat during contest preparations, without a dramatic restriction in calories. Such a mix can be further used during a steroid cycle, eliciting a much harder look from the anabolics. These cutting agents can often greatly inhibit extra fat storage during the cycle, even when using strong aromatizing androgens. A clenbuterol/thyroid mix is also common when using growth hormone, further enhancing the thermogenic and anabolic effect of this therapy.
